March 25, 2013 Hey everyone! Guess what! Transfers have come and gone yet one more time. I am off! I totally called it! I am going to Mendoza Zone. Right in centro! I am so stoked! I can´t wait to get a bunch of harsh mendocino rejections in the streets hahah. I am kidding, but the people are a lot more rushed in the city. They are more porteƱo in the city than everywhere else. My area is called Cementista, and I will have to branches to go to. The first is Cementista, and the other one is called Boulougne Sur Mer. I am excited because the city always has the coolest open the mouths and crazy stories. It truly is the ideal place to finish the mission (which I will most surely do because Elder Crawford my new comp is dying this transfer and then the next transfer... well... you know...) especially because I have never been to the other two provinces. I will have truly served a Mendoza mission. Excellent. This always happens haha.. The last day of the transfer we find some super golden families to teach. But I am happy because this isn´t my work... The Lord is just letting us get our feet wet in HIS work. Anyway.... We went to contact a referral that we got at the baptism of Victor (he´s doin great btw). They are actually Damian, Vic´s son, and his girlfriend, Mariana. They both came to the baptism... Like they asked to get off work to come to the church and watch the baptism. So already they are committed to learning something new. Well yesterday in the nightime we went to visit them, becuase we basically didn´t have anything else to do. What an inspired thought, to go visit them. We knocked on the door and Mariana came to the door and after some small talk and a HUGE smile on her face she let us in and we talked to them a little bit. She said that she felt so wonderful in the Baptism of Victor, and saw a huge change in him. She talked about how she wanted to get closer to God and then the light went off in my head. She said the keywords! So we whipped out the Book of Mormon and we explained it a little bit, and we read how living the principles taught in this book would get us closer to God than by any other book etc. It was SO awesome! I am SO confident in the Book of Mormon and it´s power. In the title page it talks about how one of the purposes of the book is to CONVINCE us that Jesus is the Christ. It is so true. Once someone has the Book of Mormon in their hands and they begin to read, OLVIDATE CHE! I have been really amazed how its like a 100% effective tool in the conversion. Every single one of the people that I have seen converted has read the Book of Mormon and become convinced of its truthfulness. Every single one of the people who I have seen become unconverted or were baptized and then fell away never read the Book of Mormon... Its a simple equation. It gives us power. Anyways... I am stoked because we just had a super spiritual lesson with them and Mariana said she can´t wait to read it and have us explain more to her. She is GOLDEN! But I am excited to go work in Mendoza. I am excited to flood that place with Elder Crawford with the Book of Mormon. Its true It feels good Love you guys. Elder Daybell
