Elder Daybell, called to be a missionary of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and our brother Elder Crawford, unto the family which is at the United States of America, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ.
Howest art thou? Haha Okay. So as you can tell. I have been tearing apart the New testament recently. I finished Acts and then dove right into the pauline epistles (chronologically) and am now in Corintios. Love it!
So this week we have been focusing a lot on working with the ward. We have a lot of great goals and a pretty clear plan of action to complete them. So I am excited. The week was really good. We met a really cool guy the other day! He lived in Long Island... So we were looking for a bus stop after having done an interview and my comp asked this guy who was just outside on the street corner smoking. He answered in english and I was like "no way you speak English?!?!" and he said yes, and explained that he lived in New Shork (York) for 13 years and had his family and everything there. I asked him why he was here and he told us that he came back to visit his mom who was sick, and how one day out of the blue someone did a driveby and he got shot 3 times in the "baht". So he had been here for about a year without seeing his family (tell me about it) and so we talked a little bit and I didn´t just stumble over my words in english, but full-on fell over like every other word haha. Anyways, we had a mutual understanding about our lack of english skills and then we coincided that the missionaries in that area would go visit him in his house, and then the bus came and I yelled to him that I would go visit him in New York sometime because he is going back as soon as he can. It would be sweet to go visit them and say, "hey! I was with Roman in Mendoza! He says hi!" I think that is the New York North mission right? I don´t know.
Anyways, we are doing well. Elder Crawford is doing well and finishin the mission very well. Very focused and you wouldn´t even know that he is going in a week. Although, his body seems to be rejecting argentine food and drink recently haha. He has had tummy pain for basically the last three weeks. Me too a little bit but, hey que va a hacer no cierto???
Anyways, I hope you guys are doing well. I am loving it. Love you guys a ton. The salutation of me Elder Daybell with mine own hand. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. My love be with you all in Christ Jesus.Amen
